Dr. Jason Chiang is a physician-scientist at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with expertise in oncology, translational medicine, and cellular immunotherapy. He is affiliated with the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, where his work focuses on advancing innovative immune-based strategies for cancer treatment.

Dr. Chiang’s research and clinical efforts include the development and evaluation of natural killer (NK) cell–based therapies, with particular emphasis on understanding NK cell biology, tumor microenvironment interactions, and immune-mediated cytotoxicity. His work explores mechanisms of NK cell activation, persistence, and enhancement of anti-tumor responses, including strategies to optimize antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and combination immunotherapy approaches.

He has contributed to translational studies integrating biomarker-driven immune monitoring, helping bridge laboratory discoveries with early-phase clinical trials. His involvement in NK cell research includes collaboration on protocol development, immune correlates analysis, and investigation of NK cell functionality in hematologic and solid tumor settings.

Dr. Chiang is committed to advancing next-generation immunotherapies through rigorous clinical investigation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and integration of immune profiling technologies to improve patient outcomes.
