Aaron U. Levy, Ph.D., is a career CEO, innovative scientist, and a published author with global leadership experience across operations, finance, and manufacturing. He has served as CEO, President, COO, and Chairman for a range of companies, from early-stage startups to publicly traded firms with market capitalizations reaching $1 billion. He also served as CEO, business enterprise for economic development and GM for a Native American tribe with more than $1 billion in operations. As the founder and CEO of Emerging Transformational Ventures, an M&A business development firm, Dr. Levy created Revenuetool.ai — a proprietary financial economic modeling platform, designed as a foundation for strategic planning and capital budgeting. Throughout his career, he has partnered with, advised, and or led more than 200 firms, in a wide range of industries across multiple sectors and led companies that delivered to Baxter, Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Texas A&M, UCSD, UCLA, NIH, Broad Institute, Cisco, NASA/JPL, IBM, Xerox, Lucent, DEC, MICRON, Boeing, Honeywell, Texas Instrument & Toshiba.
Dr. Levy is recognized for his expertise in product innovations, capital modeling, organizational restructuring and behavior, M&A turnaround, commercial growth strategy, board and investor relations. His ability to align technical innovations with financial business execution has positioned him as a trusted advisor to leadership teams navigating complex transformations.
Deeply passionate about healthcare and biotech, Dr. Levy has served in key leadership roles including Chief Science Officer/M&A at MedWatch Technologies, a firm developing noninvasive devices for diabetes care; CCO and GM at UST, Inc. a DNA sequencing company with partnership with Illumina; acting CDO at Primex Clinical Laboratories, the largest privately held clinical diagnostics lab in California; as strategic advisory director at Bio-Castle, a biotech firm. He has also presented and moderated expert panels at major healthcare conferences, such as the Wilbur K. Woo UCLA Healthcare Conference (2015), where he spoke on healthcare in U.S.–China and has volunteered in support of fund development initiatives at Cedars-Sinai celebrity-attended event benefiting colon cancer research. Since 2012, Aaron has consistently provided strategic guidance to Tracy Ryan, the co-founder and CCO of NKore Biotheraputics.
Dr. Levy holds a Ph.D. in Management, Leadership, and Organizational Change with a concentration in organizational psychology, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in science engineering. He is a U.S. patent holder and author of “Factors Influencing CEOs” and “Digital Printing.” Elected to Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), he has served on the finance committee of the Jane Goodall Institute. Aaron is an FAA-certified airline transport pilot and flight instructor and an active competitor in U.S. Masters Swimming and Water Polo.
