Michael Segal, founder of Eagle Law Group, P.C., serves as Corporate Counsel to NKore BioTherapeutics, Inc., providing strategic legal counsel to the Company, its Chief Executive Officer, management, and Board of Directors as NKore advances through its next stage of corporate, regulatory, financing, and clinical development.

Michael is an experienced corporate and business attorney who advises emerging and established companies, particularly businesses operating at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and biotechnology. His practice encompasses corporate formation and structuring, corporate governance, financings, securities matters, commercial transactions, strategic agreements, employment matters, intellectual property and trade-secret issues, and complex business disputes.

As founder of Eagle Law Group, P.C., Michael works closely with founders, executives, and boards to provide practical, sophisticated legal guidance that balances immediate business objectives with long-term corporate, regulatory, and risk considerations. His experience in complex disputes further strengthens his ability to identify potential exposures early, protect corporate interests, and structure transactions and relationships to minimize unnecessary risk.

Prior to founding Eagle Law, Michael practiced with Davidovich Stein Law Group LLP and Lewis & Llewellyn LLP, representing businesses and individuals in matters involving trade secrets, contracts, employment, securities, and unfair business practices. He previously practiced with Loeb & Loeb LLP, where he represented corporations and high-net-worth clients in sophisticated commercial matters. Throughout his career, he has advised startups, established companies, Fortune 100 organizations, and governmental entities on significant legal and business matters.

Michael earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, specializing in business law. During his legal education, he externed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including its Enforcement Division and Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations, as well as with the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and a technology and entertainment company.

Prior to his legal career, Michael served as an F-15 fighter pilot and instructor pilot, including combat service during Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds Federal Aviation Administration certifications as a Certified Flight Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Computer Science and earned an MBA summa cum laude while serving in the armed forces.

In addition to his corporate practice, Michael dedicates a portion of his practice to assisting veterans with compensation matters and advising veteran entrepreneurs. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys flying, sports, concerts, hiking, movies, and spending time with his family.

At NKore, Michael brings a combination of sophisticated corporate legal experience, biotechnology and healthcare exposure, securities and governance knowledge, complex-dispute experience, and an unusually strong background in leadership, technology, aviation, and disciplined risk management. His counsel is particularly valuable as NKore transitions from an early-stage biotechnology company into its next phase of FDA engagement, clinical development, financing, and corporate growth.
